Cast Biographies

JEREMY RENNER (Vegas): When the producers of Bravo’s IT FACTOR chose to focus on Jeremy Renner, they found a worthy subject. Recently receiving rave reviews for his probing portrayal of notorious serial killer Jeffrey Dahmer in DAHMER, this young multi-talented actor has amassed credits on stage, screen and television, and is putting out a CD of his own music. After THE OUTSIDEMAN, Renner will next be seen in SWAT, Sony’s big summer movie for 2003, in which Renner co-stars with Samuel L. Jackson, Colin Farrell, and LL Cool J. In addition to his star turn in DAHMER, he’s appeared in NATIONAL LAMPOON’S SENIOR TRIP; PAPER DRAGONS; FISH IN A BARREL, and MONKEY LOVE. On television, Renner has starred opposite Jennifer Love Hewitt on Fox’s TIME OF YOUR LIFE; co-starred as a 17th century vampire in WB’s ANGEL; starred in ZOE, DUNCAN, JACK & JANE; and has had numerous guest roles in such shows and telefilms as C.S.I.; THE NET; A NIGHTMARE COME TRUE; and TO HAVE & TO HOLD, among many others.

Coming from a theatre background, Renner keeps his stage muscles in shape performing in various theatres in the Los Angeles area. His most memorable theatrical experience was working in a show he co-directed and starred in called, SEARCH AND DESTROY, produced by Barry Levinson, garnering great reviews from Variety, Entertainment Today, and the LA Weekly. In between his theatrical pursuits, Renner also finds time to write, record and perform his own music, soon to be released on his first CD.


JAMES McEACHIN (Conrad Coleman): North Carolina native James McEachin has enjoyed a long and fruitful career in film and television, and is perhaps best known for his long-running role as Lt. Brock in PERRY MASON, which ran from 1986 to 1995. Splitting his time between film and television, McEachin has co-starred in such films as IF HE HOLLERS, LET HIM GO; THE UNDEFEATED; PLAY MISTY FOR ME; BUCK AND THE PREACHER; THE GROUNDSTAR CONSPIRACY; EVERY WHICH WAY BUT LOOSE; 2010; and SUDDEN IMPACT, working with such stars as Clint Eastwood, Sidney Poitier, and Harry Belafonte.

In addition to the PERRY MASON appearances, there were other classic television dramas graced by McEachin’s presence, which included ADAM-12; HAWAII FIVE-O; MATLOCK; TENAFLY; COLUMBO; THE JUDGE AND JAKE WYLER; and most recently McEachin starred as Justice Jerome Morris in FIRST MONDAY for CBS-TV. McEachin has recently turned his talents to writing. His books include, TELL ME A TALE: A NOVEL OF THE OLD SOUTH, THE HEROIN FACTOR, FAREWELL TO THE MOCKINGBIRDS (winner of the 1998 Benjamin Franklin Award from the Publishers Marketing Association), THE GREAT CANIS LUPUS, and SAY GOODNIGHT TO THE BOYS IN BLUE, and is currently working on his next book.


JOHN GALLUCCI (Bully Malone): John Gallucci is an actor whose gifts have graced stage, screen and television, and who is equally at home in comedy and drama. The versatile actor has worked with directors from Steven Soderbergh to Martin Scorsese and been seen in such movies as OCEAN’S ELEVEN, HIDDEN AGENDA, VAMPIRES, STRANGE DAYS, CITY OF INDUSTRY, JADE, BAD COMPANY, THE NET, 8MM, and CASINO. His television work includes three films for Showtime: FORBIDDEN HIGHWAY, DAISY IN DISGUISE, and LUCK IS A LADY; and numerous guest appearances in series as varied as SEX AND THE CITY, ER, THE SOPRANOS, ANY DAY NOW, GIDEON’S CROSSING, THE JENNY MCCARTHY SHOW, BEVERLY HILLS 90210, ONCE AND AGAIN, 100 CENTER STREET, AS THE WORLD TURNS, and SANTA BARBARA.

Gallucci, who trained with Larry Moss, Warren Robertson, and Frank Corsaro, has also had a stage career on both coasts. He starred in several plays, including the highly acclaimed Off Broadway production of COURAGE; the Theatre West production of HOME FIRE; the screwball comedy LOVESTRUCK at LA’s Zeitgeist Theatre; A VIEW FROM THE BRIDGE at the Corner Loft Theatre in NY; played Billy in the Gordon Hunt production of THE HOUSE OF BLUE LEAVES at the Skylight Theatre in LA; and had the lead as Andre in ANDRE’S WOMEN, also at Theatre West in LA. In addition to his love of acting, Gallucci also expresses himself through his work as a professional photographer.


BILLY DRAGO (Marco Bazarian): Billy Drago has a face that’s hard to forget, and it has served him well as he has co-starred memorably in so many features and television shows over the years. One of his most searing portrayals was as Frank Nitti in Brian de Palma’s award-winning THE UNTOUCHABLES, with Drago sharing the screen and holding his own amongst his co-stars Kevin Costner, Andy Garcia, and Sean Connery. Among over 50 films, some of Drago’s credits include PALE RIDER, WELCOME TO AMERICA, DECEIVERS, DEATH GAME, MONKEY BUSINESS, CYBORG 2, PRIME SUSPECT, DELTA FORCE 2, and GUNCRAZY. Drago’s television credits include THE X FILES, NASH BRIDGES, CHARMED, BRISCO COUNTY, JR., ASSAULT ON DEVIL’S ISLAND, NORTH AND SOUTH II, and THE CHISHOLMS.


MICHAEL TYLO (Polo Bazarian): Michael Tylo has enjoyed a long and fruitful career on television, beginning with a four-year stint on THE GUIDING LIGHT. He has since starred in ALL MY CHILDREN, GENERAL HOSPITAL, THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS, and THE BOLD AND THE BEAUTIFUL, playing a wide range of characters both loved and hated.

Tylo also made memorable appearances in several television films, including LONESOME DOVE, and in the series, ZORRO, MURDER SHE WROTE, and PERRY MASON. Tylo’s work has also graced the big screen, most recently in INTREPID.
